Where is my piece of jewelry made?
Unlike many large companies in the jewelry and fashion industry, our jewelry is exclusively handmade in Munich under fair working conditions.
Can I choose the length of my chains?
We offer a variety of chain lengths across our various models. You can find the exact length in the product description next to the necklace you're interested in.
Can I have the jewelry personalized?
For some of our jewelry pieces, you can choose a charm with your favorite letter or symbol. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer any further customization or personalization. Accordingly, we currently only sell our jewelry exactly as shown in our online shop.
Does concrete always look the same on the surface?
No, because concrete is a natural and, above all, open-pored material. Therefore, slight variations in color and texture, as well as air inclusions in the form of small bubbles, may be visible on the surface.
Do the same pieces of jewelry differ from each other?
Our jewelry is handcrafted with dedication and love. Furthermore, due to the materials used and the special techniques involved, it's difficult to create two identical pieces. Therefore, each piece of jewelry is unique, designed to emphasize your individual personality in a unique way. However, if you are not satisfied with the appearance of your piece of jewelry, please feel free to contact us, and we will work with you to find a solution.
Are the jewelry pieces sealed?
We only use a very skin-friendly sealant for our jewelry. For your health, we have specifically avoided chemical additives in the sealant. However, this sealant only protects against light and superficial dirt.
Are the jewelry pieces currently nickel-free?
Currently, not all of our jewelry is nickel-free. All pieces in our 925 recycled sterling silver collection are nickel-free. A quick note for you: This applies to all pieces of jewelry priced over €50 in our online shop. You'll also find this reference in the detailed product description.
What actually makes concrete jewelry sustainable?
For us, the production of jewelry should never come at the expense of the planet we call our home. Therefore, it was very important to us that we use materials - like concrete - that are more environmentally friendly both in production and as a finished piece of jewelry than the materials most commonly used in the current jewelry industry. Contrary to popular belief, the production of concrete jewelry releases far less CO² than regular gold, silver, or other metal jewelry. Nevertheless, a certain amount of carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere during production. However, some studies have found that finished products made of concrete and cement - such as our jewelry - actually absorb almost half of the CO² over the course of their product life cycle. To further minimize our ecological footprint as part of our work processes, we use our small amount of leftover concrete and small, defective castings to cast additional objects.
When will my desired piece of jewelry be available again?
We predominantly produce only in very small quantities to avoid surpluses and minimize pollution. We try to re-produce sold-out pieces of jewelry as quickly as possible. You can then check availability in our online shop. You can also be notified as soon as the piece of jewelry is available again. To do so, simply click the "Notify me by email or text message" button next to the sold-out product and enter your contact information.
Can I swim or shower with the jewelry?
Stains may develop in the concrete if it is exposed to prolonged or frequent water. Furthermore, the adhesive on the earring studs may detach, and the sealant may be washed off. We therefore ask that you do not swim or shower with our jewelry.

Which payment methods can I use?
credit card
When you place your order, you provide your credit card details. After successful verification as the legitimate cardholder, the payment transaction will be processed automatically and your card will be charged.
PayPal
During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider PayPal. To pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must be registered with PayPal. After placing your order in the online shop, we will request PayPal to initiate the payment transaction.
The payment transaction will be processed automatically by PayPal immediately afterward. You will receive further instructions during the ordering process.
Apple Pay
During the ordering process, you have the option to select Apple Pay as your express checkout method. This means that you don't need to provide your name, address, and payment information to complete the order process. Simply sign up with Apple Pay, and your stored data, such as name, address, and payment information, will be used.
Klarna invoice
During the ordering process, you will be redirected to the website of the online provider Klarna. To pay the invoice amount via Klarna, you must be registered with Klarna. After placing your order in the online shop, we will request Klarna to initiate the payment transaction.
Klarna will process the payment transaction automatically immediately afterward. You will receive further instructions during the ordering process. However, if you have any questions or problems with the payment, you must contact Klarna directly.

With the help of Sofortüberweisung you have the option of paying the invoice amount cashlessly via the online payment system.
Where can I see the individual pieces of jewelry that contributed to the final invoice amount?
After completing your order, you will receive an order confirmation from us. This email will list all the jewelry items you selected during the order process, along with their corresponding prices.
What can I do if I have problems with payment?
We are really sorry that you are having problems paying for your order.
Please try changing your browser and completing the order process again. In most cases, this will resolve the issue.
If it still doesn't work, please clear your cache and cookies and try completing the purchase using a different, more recent device. Unfortunately, sometimes this can be a local device issue.
If it still doesn't work, please contact us by email at support@betonell.de and send us a screenshot of the error message displayed.
Problems with the order
I would like to cancel my order
If you have not yet received a shipping confirmation and would like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible via support@betonell.de
Please include your full name, delivery address, and the name of the jewelry item purchased in this email.
We will do our best to accommodate cancellation of your order before shipment.
If you have already received the shipping confirmation, we can unfortunately no longer cancel your order.
I would like to change my order
If you have not yet received a shipping confirmation and would like to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible via support@betonell.de
In this email, please include your full name, delivery address, and the exact changes you would like to make to your order.
We will do our best to make this possible before your order is shipped.
My address is incorrect and I would like to change it
If you find that your address is incorrect or you have accidentally entered an address that you do not want to use for the order, please send us an email as soon as possible to support@betonell.de
In this email, please include your full name, your old and new delivery address, and the name of the jewelry item you purchased.
As long as the package is not shipped, we can change your address and ensure that your order is delivered to the correct address.
I received the wrong piece of jewelry
We're very sorry to hear you received the wrong piece of jewelry. We're happy to help and make it as easy as possible for you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
1. Please take a photo of the piece of jewelry you received in error.
2. Please send us an email with your order number and the attached picture of your jewelry to support@betonell.de
We will inform you about the next steps as soon as possible.
I received a faulty piece of jewelry
We're very sorry to hear that you received a defective piece of jewelry. We're happy to help and make it as easy as possible for you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
1. Please photograph the piece of jewelry in such a way that the defect can be clearly seen.
2. Please send us an email to support@betonell.de , stating your order number and an attached picture of your jewelry .
We will inform you about the next steps as soon as possible.
Delivery & Returns
How long does shipping take?
The delivery time for packages via standard shipping within Germany is 2 - 4 working days.
However, please note that customs and shipping companies may require additional time to process and deliver your order. This may be particularly true during the pre-Christmas period or certain holidays (e.g., Valentine's Day, Easter).
How can I check the shipment status of my order?
As soon as your order is on its way to you, you will receive a shipping confirmation with all the details of your order and a tracking number.
You can use the tracking number to track your order and be informed of the latest location and estimated delivery date.

How much are the shipping costs?
For the delivery of our jewelry, we charge a flat rate per order:

3.50 EUR DHL parcel (free shipping for orders over 70€)
The shipping costs will be clearly communicated to you in the shopping cart system and on the order page.
Why do you charge shipping costs?
We are a young jewelry label with fair prices. Instead of concealing shipping costs, we disclose them openly and honestly. Beyond that, shipping costs have a purpose. They are costs that arise with every order – be it for packaging materials, labor, or the costs for the services and wages of DHL couriers.
Do you ship your jewelry outside of Germany?
We currently only ship our jewelry within Germany. Nevertheless, we are working on being able to ship our jewelry to other countries very soon.
Can I have my order sent to a different address as a gift?
Of course, you can send the selected piece of jewelry as a gift to any address. Please specify the desired shipping address separately, which differs from the billing address.
Are returns free?
We're still a very young jewelry brand and therefore can't offer free returns. Therefore, our orders don't include a return label.
What are your return policies?
The goods must be returned to us within 14 days of the order date and should not show any signs of wear. Please note that you are responsible for all costs associated with returns. Returns remain the responsibility of our customer until we receive them – therefore, we recommend that you send a trackable package. This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal and, of course, remains in effect.
Returns will be refunded to the original account used for payment. If the payment was made by credit card or PayPal, it may take some time for the transaction to clear with your bank. Depending on your bank, this can take up to 7 business days.

Is an exchange possible?
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, you will need to return your original order for a refund and place a new order. All returned orders must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt.

Since we're still a very young jewelry label, we unfortunately don't have a shipping warehouse yet. So please don't be surprised by the address provided.
How much time do I have to return something?
We accept returns within 14 days from the date of delivery to the date of dispatch (visible on the postmark).
How do I get my refund?
We'll process your refund once your return has been processed in our system. You don't need to send us any additional information or data.
The amount will be automatically refunded to your original payment method.
