Contrary to popular belief, the production of concrete jewelry releases far less CO² than regular gold, silver, or other metal jewelry. Nevertheless, some carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere during production. However, some studies have found that finished products made of concrete and cement—such as our jewelry—reabsorb almost half of the CO² over the course of their life cycle.
